Relay for Life - SMDH Team raised more than
$15,000 for this organization and was awarded the Sapphire distinction for their
effort. We thank all those that contributed in any way to help us achieve
this record breaking award. Work has already begun on next years' event.eam
SMH Auxiliary was recently honored with a nomination and recognized during the banquet for volunteer work done in 2009. We thank all members for making this honor possible. Auxiliary's recent fundraiser with the popular Butter Braids enabled us to put more money towards completing the purchase of all new LCD TV's in both the hospital and Long Term Care areas. Thank you all for your orders, and we know you'll enjoy the product with family and friends. |

| At this year's Relay for Life kick-off, the SMDH team presented a check for $6,000 towards their fundraising goal. Congratulations to both SMDH Relay for Life team and the American Cancer Society for a job well done. | |

Auxiliary fundraising success brought LCD Televisions for each patient in our hospital rooms. The new remotes receive more TV and added music channels for your listening pleasure. We thank everyone for your continued support to make this project one we all can appreciate. We've now expanded our fundraising to update the television sets to the Long Term Care rooms in the future. The recent Home Tour brought in over $2600, and the Jewelry fundraiser raised over $1600 towards our effort. We thank you all. |
